19th Century Round Kashmir Gold Gilded Bronze Covered Box
This fine Kashmir covered box has a round form and has a gold gilt overlay on what appears to be bronze. It is dated 1878 on the bottom and measures approximately 2 + ¼ inches high and 4 inches in diameter. It is of high quality and is in excellent condition with the exception of some surface wear mostly on the inside and minor enamel loss. This was possibly an expedition piece.
