Antique  Persian Copper Water Jug with interesting snake type handle. The decoration is mainly in panels of Geometric patterns and shapes.  I am not an expert in Eastern Metal Wares, so I am not 100% sure about the exact age and period. But it looks very much like the Safavid Style handle and design.  The construction of the base is also interesting.  I will endeavour to get some better pictures, the definition on this batch is not very good. Condition: There are a few dents in the body of the Jug and also on the base underneath the spout I can see some daylight shining through (small spot), so I don't think it is watertight anymore. However that could easily be repaired. Size: Height: 25cm (9.75") Width: 14cm (5.5") Weight: 1180grams.

I do not make money on Postage/Shipping fees… Fees are Actual Postage Cost plus e-bay will charge me 10% on all postage costs, plus cost of packing materials...I re-use boxes in the interest of recycling and to keep costs down but not excluding, nor limited to, bought in bubble wrap, parcel wrap, polystyrene packing kernels, plastic sealed bags, jiffy bags, bought in pizza boxes and special size boxes, the real killer is parcel tape.
For some items I offer "Free Shipping", but this is only for Mainland UK, for Overseas, Highlands etc, please contact me for a quote. Also please do keep in mind when making an offer, that many items are heavy and big, so the postage content of the asking price is high.
I post Overseas, but sometimes use the E-bay Global Shipping Program. This means that the invoice you receive is generated by E-bay with the overseas shipping charges, not from me.
